Did you know that March 7th is National Cereal Day? Well now you do. And in light of this, Post Consumer Brands is releasing Magic Fruity Pebbles Cereal. This mind boggling, limited edition treat will definitely have you feeling like a child on a Saturday morning all over again! And in case you didn’t know, Pebbles cereal has been around for half a decade now.
Post launched the Pebbles cereal after they secured the licensing rights from Hanna-Barbera in 1971. In case you haven’t noticed, the cereal is eponymous to Fred and Wilma Flintstone’s daughter, Pebbles. Kids and kids-at-heart have enjoyed many versions of this fun, hot pink cereal ever since. However, this brand new cereal is unlike anything that has been offered before.

One of the fun things about cereal, aside from its sugary goodness and amusing shapes, is its ability to make milk change colors. And this cereal does that and more. The regular Fruity Pebbles come in an assortment of vibrant colors. But the limited edition cereal consists of hot pink, crispy rice that’s reminiscent of the Flintstone family’s pet Dino. Naturally, you’d be expecting pink-tinted milk from it. However, that won’t be the case, since this cereal will magically turn your milk blue instead! Post’s brand manager, Amy Brothers, said in a press release:

We’re excited to put a magical twist on our classic vibrant colors while staying true to the delicious fruity taste that fans love.
