Fruity Pebbles And Cocoa Pebbles Ice Cream Is On The Way

Did you know that Fruity Pebbles will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year? In celebration of this milestone, Post Consumer Brand will be serving cake and ice cream! The announcement of the cake kit came out earlier. And now it has come to our attention that they’ll be releasing not one, but two frozen treats too! Of course we’ve all enjoyed frozen dairy desserts mixed with the colorful, fruity cereal for a long time. But we’re certain that the upcoming Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles ice creams are going to be on an entirely different level!

Last year, we got to start our days with the Magic Fruity Pebbles cereal that turned our milk blue. And while the new ice cream won’t be changing color (though it would be really amazing if it did!), there’s no denying these treats are a thing of wonder. Instagram user @candyhunting was the one to break the tasty new morsel of news. And the best bit? They managed to gather some very important info about the cereal treats so we’ve know what to expect when the ice creams finally hit the freezer aisles!

Post Consumer Brands is treating us to Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles ice cream as part of the brand’s 50th anniversary this year

According to @candyhunting, the Fruity Pebbles version will consist of “fruity cereal milk”-flavored light ice cream that’s got colorful candy bedrock bits and a fruity swirl mixed in. Meanwhile, the Cocoa Pebbles variety will have a light chocolate-flavored frozen dairy base. Then to make things even better, the Cocoa Pebbles variety will also have chocolate bedrock bits mixed in.

Both of the frozen treats will come in a 1.41-liter container. Fred Flintstone can be spotted rejoicing, spoon in-hand, on the cover of the Fruity Pebbles treat. On the other hand, the Cocoa Pebbles variety features Fred’s best friend, Barney Rubble. Post hasn’t made any official announcement about the frozen cereal-based treats’ release. But since @candyhunting already spotted it at InstaCart, we can only they’re sure to arrive soon. We’re definitely humming ‘happy birthday’ when we finally get to dig in on these frozen goodies!
