New Magic Fruity Pebbles Cereal Will Turn Your Milk Blue

Did you know that March 7th is National Cereal Day? Well now you do. And in light of this, Post Consumer Brands is releasing Magic Fruity Pebbles Cereal. This mind boggling, limited edition treat will definitely have you feeling like a child on a Saturday morning all over again! And in case you didn’t know, Pebbles cereal has been around for half a decade now.

Post launched the Pebbles cereal after they secured the licensing rights from Hanna-Barbera in 1971. In case you haven’t noticed, the cereal is eponymous to Fred and Wilma Flintstone’s daughter, Pebbles. Kids and kids-at-heart have enjoyed many versions of this fun, hot pink cereal ever since. However, this brand new cereal is unlike anything that has been offered before.

Posts’s new cereal is the craziest cereal you’ll ever try

One of the fun things about cereal, aside from its sugary goodness and amusing shapes, is its ability to make milk change colors. And this cereal does that and more. The regular Fruity Pebbles come in an assortment of vibrant colors. But the limited edition cereal consists of hot pink, crispy rice that’s reminiscent of the Flintstone family’s pet Dino. Naturally, you’d be expecting pink-tinted milk from it. However, that won’t be the case, since this cereal will magically turn your milk blue instead! Post’s brand manager, Amy Brothers, said in a press release:

“The Pebbles brand is always looking for new ways to spark imagination in kids and kids at heart. We’re excited to put a magical twist on our classic vibrant colors while staying true to the delicious fruity taste that fans love. Magic Fruity Pebbles Cereal takes the eating experience to a whole new level.”

The new magical cereal will have you yelling Yabba-dabba-doo

This cereal may have a different color, but it still has that yummy classic Fruity Pebbles taste that you know and love. According to Post Consumer Brands, we’ll be able to get our hands on the cereal beginning to mid-February.

Some lucky Fruity Pebbles fans have already experienced the magic

NEWS: Post is releasing a limited edition of Fruity Pebbles for national cereal day called Magic Fruity Pebbles. The magic is how the pebbles pieces turn your milk blue! See the last picture for that detail. Instead of their normal multicolored appearance this version of FP is all pink in honor of Dino from the Flintstones. Otherwise these are the FPs you know and love. ? I initially thought the spoon they gave me in this box was just a stupid blue plastic spoon with weak branding but I was wrong. It does have weak branding but it also changes colors when you get it in your cold milk! Just like the good ol days. ? On a separate note. This may be the first time I've ever had Froot Loops, Trix and Fruity Pebbles in the same week. I can say with absolute confidence that Fruity Pebbles is my fav of the 3 with Froot Loops being last. What are your thoughts? #cereal #nostalgia #flintstones #dinothedinosaur #hannahbarbera #cerealday #cereales #cartoons #magicfruitypebbles

#review – Magic Fruity Pebbles // This morning I ran down the stairs and tore into a box of cereal like I was a 10 yr old kid. @post_cereals sent a care package of my FAVORITE cereal from when I was a kid complete with their #new Pebbles variation and some swag. This will be the first time I don’t provide an overall rating at the end cuz there is too much love and nostalgia here that it will score off the charts. But let’s get into what’s happening in the NEW Magic Fruity Pebbles, eh? We have a bright pink box with our favorite Hanna-Barbera buddies presenting a pink pebble cereal that claims magical powers of changing the milk color to blue, instead of pink. If I was under that age of 10, I would agree. Fred and Dino are sorcerers. If you swipe through the pics, you can see the bright pink cereal and even the blue milk. They did not lie about their magical properties. The taste is classic citrus Pebbles, like in a true magic show, it’s all about the appearance. 😉 And I’m all for it. Why change the taste if it’s been working so well? But they do stray sometimes in that area. Looking back, there has been a Peanut Butter Chocolate Pebbles, a Caramel Apple Boulders, a Dino S’mores Pebbles, Cupcake Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm Berry Pebbles, Poppin’ Pebbles (think pop rocks), Ice Cream Pebbles, Ice Berry Pebbles, Sugar Cookie Pebbles, Candy Corn Pebbles, Cinnamon Pebbles, as well as marshmallow versions and the seasonal fun too. So, Post and the Pebbles gang are no stranger to change when they want to. I hope we’ll get more fun flavors soon, but for now I’ll enjoy my David Copperfield bowl of happiness. These boxes of childhood sunshine should be hitting shelves soon, just in time for #NationalCerealDay on March 7th. So, get some while you can because it won’t be on shelves forever! . . Fun Fact: Fruity Pebbles started in 1971 and cranks out 100 boxes a minute which makes 44 million pounds of Pebbles each year. . . #fruitypebbles #magic #magicfruitypebbles #newfruitypebbles #limited #limitededition #postcereal #newcereal #cereal #yay #nostalgia #omg #pink #blue #cerealday #dadbod #dadbodsnacks #facts #dadbodfacts #soexcited
