The Limited Edition Oreo S’mores Could Be Making A Comeback This Year

Nabisco’s Oreo S’mores is undoubtedly one of the brand’s best limited-edition summer variants. It first came out in 2015 then made a brief comeback in 2019. Last year, rumors surfaced that it was hitting the shelves once again, but that didn’t happen. Well, it’s safe to get your hopes high again because these graham-flavored cookies could be coming back this year for real!

We’ve recently spotted a listing on Instacart that features updated packaging of the cookies. We don’t know about you, but we’re definitely taking it as a sign of the cookies’ much-awaited comeback. It’s also worth pointing out that the 12.2-ounce packaging seems to feature a Fourth of July-inspired design complete with fireworks. So, it’s highly likely that they’ll start to roll out in stores this spring or summer.

S’mores Oreos are reportedly coming back to shelves this year with new packaging

Although they now sport new packaging, there seem to be no major adjustments in terms of the cookies’ ingredients. They still consist of the same graham-flavored sandwich cookies with marshmallow and chocolate-flavored creme in between. So, they’re just as good as the real thing! Plus, they don’t even require a campfire nor any preparation for that matter.

Meanwhile, Instagram user @junkbanter has posted a photo of what appears to be actual packaging of the cookies. So, in case we still haven’t convinced you enough, then that should do it.

All these signs suggest that it’s only a matter of time before we get our hands on these limited-edition cookies. Until then, we have a bunch of Easter treats to keep our sweet tooth satisfied.
