Artist Eric Geusz Reimagines What Everyday Objects Might Look Like As Spaceships
They say imagination fades with age as adults tend to lose their childhood sense of wonder as they mature. While this proves true to most people, there are those fortunate enough to keep their playful creativity within themselves even as they grew with age. One of whom is San Francisco-based digital artist Eric Geusz, aka Spacegoose, who keeps his active imagination alive by re-imagining everyday household objects into impressive spaceship designs.
Awesome Spaceship Designs Inspired By Everyday Objects
Remember when we used to build houses, cars, ships, and character figures using LEGO blocks as a kid? The days when everything was all about having fun and play? As an adult now, we can only look back at those nostalgic times of carefree childhood as the burden of responsibility, job, and family has left us almost no opportunity to unleash our creativity.
Instead of LEGOs, all we see at home are everyday household items while at the office are common office supplies. While most of us give very little thought to these mundane objects, Geusz keeps on cultivating his natural creativity by visualizing everyday objects as spectacular spaceships.
Lighters, drum key, hand grip, corkscrew, whisk, multi-tool pocket knife, can opener, ice cream scoop, thermometer – this artist can transform almost anything into stunning spaceships in elaborate designs.
His creations features complex and painstaking details that make these spacecrafts look like something straight out of a Star Wars movie. He also finds inspiration from other humdrum things such as eraser, pens, wine bottle, lipstick, and even a packet of hot sauce.
