Laundry doesn’t have to be costly. But if you have to buy powder detergents and fabric softeners so often then you have no choice. You’ll have to spend money on laundry whether you like it or not. But lo and behold, there’s a new way to wash your clothes without detergents or fabric softeners. Introducing the Ecoegg, the first ever laundry egg that will certainly save you a lot of money.

    Eco-friendly property

We all know the harsh effects of detergents to the environment as these products uses chemicals to remove stains. The Ecoegg, on the other hand, uses natural minerals and contains no harsh chemicals. It effectively lifts away dirt and grime from both white and colored clothes without resorting to bleaches or soaps. This laundry egg is non-toxic, phosphate-free, and hypoallergenic that is suitable for even the most delicate fabrics.

But how can we use this bizarre plastic egg in  our laundry? Before you can use the product, you need to fill up the plastic egg with cleaning pellets. The product comes with several packs of white and black pellets. For the first use, fill the egg with 3 packs of white pellets and one pack of black pellets. Simply place the laundry egg into the drum of the washing machine, on top of the laundry, and wash as normal.

The Ecoegg features a plastic container that houses natural pellets that can produce suds when mixed with water. The black pellets are ceramic tourmalines that have the ability to dissolve stains and grimes found in the fabric. At the same time, the white mineral pellets have ionizing property that lift away remaining dirt residue from the fabric. Furthermore, the white pellets also have the ability to soften the water so there’s no need to use fabric softener.

    Money-saving alternative

But that’s not the best part yet. Ecoegg is available in 3 sizes (small, medium, large). The small laundry egg can last up to 54 washes, medium-sized can do 210 washes, while the large-sized can last up to 720 washes. So, if you opt for the large variant, that’s basically 3 years of washing. Imagine all the money you can save from buying one laundry egg versus detergent products.

This laundry egg is refillable due to the fact that the white mineral pellets will dissolve away over time. You can purchase refill pellets from the company’s official website. As for the recyclable plastic egg, you’ll need to wait for 10 years before you need to buy a new one. That’s how reliable this product is!

You can also choose from 4 different fragrances: fresh lavender, fresh linen, spring blossom, and fragrance free. It’s about time to care for our environment and our skin. With that being said, it’s about time to end the era of harsh detergent products and opt for the eco-friendly alternative such as this laundry egg. More importantly, it allows us to save a load of money on laundry.
