Prepare to fire up your taste buds with the Spicy Chicken Nuggets and cool them off later with the Chips Ahoy McFlurry. These two new items will be hitting US menus this fall for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide.
The Spicy Chicken Nuggets are breaded with a sizzling tempura coating featuring a blend of cayenne and chili peppers. If the spicy coating isn’t enough to appease your spice-seeking taste buds then you can turn up the heat by dipping it into the new dipping sauce. McDonald’s also introduces the Mighty Hot Sauce made from a powerful blend of crushed red peppers and spicy chili. So, if you want to take the spiciness to the next level, pair the Spicy Chicken Nuggets with the Mighty Hot Sauce for a flaming hot flavor sensation.

“This is the first time we’ve introduced a new flavor of our classic Chicken McNuggets in the U.S. since they came to menus in 1983,” said Vice President of Menu Innovation, Linda VanGosen, “As our customers have been asking for Spicy McNuggets for some time now, we couldn’t think of a better time to bring them to our menus. We can’t wait for McNuggets fans to get a taste of these new spicy options.”
After sending your taste buds into a spicy adventure, it’s time to treat them to a sweet, cool relief with the new Chips Ahoy frozen treat. This creamy dessert features vanilla soft-serve mixed with Chips Ahoy! Cookie pieces and topped with caramel syrup. It is available in Snack and Regular sizes.

Remember that that the Spicy Chicken Nuggets and the new McFlurry will only be available for a limited time. Unless the American fast food company changes its mind and decides to add them to the menu as permanent items. Nonetheless, we’re still lucky to have the chance to try these exciting treats, even for a limited time.
