The Terminator remains to be one of the most iconic movie franchises to date. So, in celebration of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s birthday last July 30th, wood-carving artist Max of Craftsman Pipes (aka Radon Lab) decided to create a Terminator pipe. Upon sharing a photo of it on Reddit, it quickly received positive responses from fans of the movie. In fact, it even caught the attention of the 73-year-old actor and former California governor.
And much to Max’s surprise, the actor didn’t just praise his incredible creation online, he even offered to buy it. Well, it actually doesn’t come as a surprise since the pipe’s craftsmanship is simply superb. Carved from briarwood, the pipe features a stunning replica of the cyborg assassin’s half human and half robotic face. It also comes with a tamper made of beech and brass, as well as an ebonite stem. And the best part? It’s a fully functioning smoking pipe, so it’s not just for decorative purposes.

Max then insisted that he would rather gift the pipe to the actor. Schwarzenegger didn’t refuse further and instead offered to send back a signed photo of him using the pipe. “You can send me a message and I’ll give you the details,” said Schwarzenegger.
Apparently, the legendary actor successfully received the pipe, and he loved it! So, in return, he sent the talented artist a photo of him using it, with a message that read, “To Radon, Thank you for the great pipe! Arnold Schwarzenegger.” Schwarzenegger later commented again on the Reddit thread and said, “I love it. You’re really talented, and I can’t thank you enough!”
Meanwhile, Max also shared the photo on Instagram and wrote, “This is probably the best day of my life. I’m very happy and it’s not even about the big money or the many orders. He is a legend and I was able to touch him, it is a great honor for me.”

The talented artist has also created a variety of pipes inspired by other pop culture icons. These include Charlie Chaplin, The Joker, Hellboy and Jiraiya from Naruto, to name a few. He also offers custom orders, so feel free to send him a message for inquiries. In the meantime, you may find more of his works on his Instagram page and website.
