The world may be at a standstill right now, but Kellogg’s is certainly making it clear that nothing can get in the way of their mission in creating and delivering the tastiest treats. We’ve barely had time to recover from their SpongeBob SquarePants Pop-Tarts, and yet they’re back at it again! And this time, they’ve taken a classic, much beloved treat and made it their own. Say hola to the new Pop-Tarts Frosted Chocolatey Churro! Yes, that’s right. Pop-Tarts has succeeded in creating a toaster pastry version of the iconic fried-dough pastry.
We’re certainly intrigued at how the Frosted Chocolatey Churro will vary from the brand’s other offerings that contain cinnamon and sugar. Because, as we all know, their Brown Sugar Cinnamon has become quite the crowd favorite. So we’re definitely looking forward to how the new Pop-Tarts will taste! Will it have that unique, doughy, cinnamony-sweet taste that churros have?
The Pop-Tarts Frosted Chocolatey Churro will be hitting stores sometime in May 2020
We’ll have to do some waiting to find out how exactly the Pop-Tarts taste. According to a PR rep, we’ll be seeing the new churro-flavored Pop-Tarts on shelves around the later half of May 2020. This excruciating wait may sound like torture, but we’re confident that we won’t be disappointed. I mean, I can’t remember Pop-Tarts ever dishing out something bad. Sweets sleuth @candyhunting has posted a teaser photo of the upcoming Pop-Tarts.

Pop-Tarts have been rolling out those fun flavors and products like crazy lately! We aren't complaining, though. We say, "BRING IT!" Next up on deck is the brand new Frosted Chocolatey Churro! Yep, we're drooling, too. It'll be available at Walmart and other stores in late May, so be ready! We're expecting this to taste like a warm churro, dipped in chocolate… which only validates our theory that Pop-Tarts are THE dessert lovers' breakfast! ??
And judging by the image of a churro dipped in a bowl of chocolate, we can expect Pop-Tarts to deliver all the flavors we love about the iconic treat. They’ll be coming in 8-count and 16-count boxes once they arrive on Walmart’s shelves. The later half of May may seem like a long wait, but at least we’ve got a lot of things to look forward to in the meantime!
