Red Bottom Pools Are A Thing Now And I Think Dracula Would Approve

Do you want to know the latest Halloween craze right now? Red pools are currently all over Instagram and Twitter. Apparently, people are now turning their swimming pools into what they call ‘Dracula’s Hot Tub’. And if you’re into Gothic style or just simply love Halloween, this is the trend that you need to join in while it’s hot.

Turning your pool into a Dracula’s Hot Tub is actually really simple. All you need to do is paint the bottom of your pool red, fill it up with water, and watch the magic unfold. The red-hued flooring lends its color to the clear water, giving it a blood-like appearance that is sure to satisfy the inner vampire in you. Then you can swim as usual and make it look like you’re swimming in a pool of blood.

Obviously, red pools appealed to a lot of people. Many people have been re-painting their pools, from the usual blue to red, to try something new and horrifyingly refreshing. Some hotels across the globe have also followed the trend as a clever way to prep for the Halloween. Even celebrity Kat Von D shared a video of her scarlet pool on Facebook which looks somewhat spooky yet cool.
