Not even a pandemic lockdown can stop a hungry artist from unleashing their artistry and creativity. While everyone still tried to stay productive during the lockdown, this artist made the best of the opportunity by transforming her home into a charming work of art. By painting decorative floral motifs on all of her walls, she was able to turn her house into a rustic dreamland. Now, every corner of her home looks like it has come straight out of a fairytale.
French artist Nathalie Lété lives and works in Paris where she creates children’s books, ceramic sculptures, glass pictures, patterned dishes, silkscreens, postcards and much more. When France went on a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, she was forced to take a break from her work. But that didn’t stop her from putting her passion to use. While being stuck in quarantine, she decided to fill her house with her art by creating colorful blooming flowers on the walls.
This French Artist Turns Her House Into A Wonderland By Painting Blooming Flowers On The Walls
Nathalie bought the country house three years ago. Her initial plan was to decorate her studio space with dreamy flower murals. But with the quarantine in effect, her husband encouraged her to decorate the entire house instead. And that’s when she started on all of the interior walls of her home. From the walls and doors to window frames and bathroom tiles, everywhere inside the house is decorated with ethereal murals inspired by nature. Nathalie even took her brush to her furniture and rugs.
“What I liked especially was the idea of [creating] your own world, kind of a nest, just filled with your own art,” Nathalie says. “From wall paintings to the rugs, from the fabrics to the lamps and everyday dishes. The idea is that you can transform a simple place and furniture found on the street into something special and personal.”

Evening light on last painting i did. You always ask me what kind of paintings i use.. i mostly used the @agnes.emery ones for the backgrounds , which are fantastic, but i just discover and tried the @anniesloanfr_officiel @anniesloanhome and i must say that the very soft texture and the palette of colors are also super qualitative!! They exist in small cans which are perfect to test and to allowed you to have many colors( it was very difficult for me to choose the colors, they are all beautiful)
