And our favorite doughnut purveyor, Krispy Kreme, is more than happy to provide us with some Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts for us to sink our fangs into. The ghoulish doughnut treats hit their menu on October 5th and is an integral element in the company’s efforts to help create a safe yet still spooky Halloween for us all. This spooky batch features three iconic Halloween characters that you will love biting into!
Last year, they delivered doughnuts decorated like colorful cyclops. But this year, we’re getting three iconic Halloween monsters. Say hello to Frank, Drake the Vampire and Wolfie the Werewolf!
With these three fun and delicious monster-inspired doughnuts, you can treat your loved ones to a spook-ilicious bite without risking your health and safety. In a statement, Dave Skena, the chief marketing officer said:
“This Halloween, we’re trading scary for sweet and helping fans create new ways to safely enjoy the season. Instead of asking for sweet treats, let’s give them away to all neighbors, family, and friends we appreciate so much. It’s not a normal Halloween, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it a sweet one.”

Each of the Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts have something devastatingly delicious to offer. Frank, for starters, is made up of an Original Kreme-filled doughnut that’s covered with green icing and decorated with an adorable face. And to complete its look, two pretzel pieces stick out from both sides of Frank’s ‘face’. Drake, on the other hand, will ‘bleed’ raspberry filling.
This vampy doughnut has purplish icing for skin and of course, an adorable Dracula caricature face with sugar piece eyes. Wolfie, on the other hand, is made with a chocolate-dipped Original Glaze doughnut decorated like a werewolf with Chocolate Kreme, a sugar piece face and cinnamon sugar cereal ears.

And as if the Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts weren’t enough, they will also be holding “Sweet-or-Treat” Saturdays from October 10th until Halloween. This promotion gives customers a chance to get a $1 Sweet-or-Treat dozen together with another doughnut dozen purchase. The Sweet-or-Treat dozen contains individually wrapped Original Glazed doughnuts, so it’s totally safe to share! There will also be a special-edition Jack-o’-Lantern doughnut included in every Sweet-or-Treat set, to complete the Halloween vibe.

Customers who drop by their stores and drive-thrus wearing their most spooky costumes will get a free doughnut.
