Parts of this plant such as the leaves, seeds, and stalks are used as a flavoring to meals and dishes. Despite its myriad of health benefits, there are some things about it that some people can’t stand. According to most coriander haters, the herb has a soapy or rotten taste that they find so repulsive. Apart from the taste, some people also dislike its smell that they claim is similar to the pungent odor of a stink bug. Although its appearance closely resembles parsley, these two herbs greatly differ in flavor and aroma.
Through the Facebook group I Hate Coriander, all coriander haters around the globe joined together to express their hatred towards this particular herb. The page’s profile photo with the words ‘Coriander Sucks’ written against a black background simply says it all. You can find plenty of hilarious memes showing the members’ aversion to coriander. Since its creation in December 2013, the page already has over 207k followers and 208k likers as of this writing.
If you’re also one of them, you can join the group and start spreading your hatred towards the herb. But if you love coriander, don’t even think about opposing their thoughts about the stuff. This led to an outrage where members came united against one adversary, calling her a ‘sicko’ and all sorts of unpleasant names.
