Given all these options, it’s obviously impossible to pick just a single favorite. But apparently, Hostess still isn’t done coming up with exciting flavors to spoil us. This time, they’re bringing us Strawberry Cheesecake Donettes, and they definitely sound like our new go-to summer snack!
The snack cake brand first teased about the new flavor on their Instagram page. They challenged their followers to guess their upcoming flavor based on the hashtags that they had provided. Among the choices that garnered the top votes were Green Tea Matcha, Caramel Macchiato and Banana Pudding.

Although cheesecake didn’t quite make it to their followers’ list, we’re pretty sure that people will love it, nonetheless. After all, it’s still a sweet, summery flavor that no dessert lover can certainly resist!

Hostess’ new Strawberry Cheesecake Donettes combine two summer favorites in a single treat
This new Donettes variant features pink strawberry-flavored cake donuts, coated with thick and creamy icing. They come in 10.5-ounce bags, so you’ll have enough to share with your family or friends. But if sharing is not your thing, then you’ll surely have more than enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Just be careful not to devour the whole thing in one sitting.

In a press release, Adam Lisook, brand director of Hostess Breakfast, said that the brand takes delight in offering customers ways to “indulge in small moments of happiness throughout their day.”
“Hostess always strives to be a beacon of fun and joy in an otherwise hectic life. We hope these innovative new ways to enjoy some of our most beloved breakfast items help our consumers begin their day on a sweet note.”
Apparently, the brand has also brought back its Strawberry Donettes, which now come in six-piece packs and three-to-a-pack, on-the-go packaging. Well, it does seem like pink and strawberry is Hostess’ theme for this month.
