We Are you looking into adopting a cat anytime soon? If so, then you might want to check out the Sante D’Or Adoption Center in Los Angeles, California. Thanks to Jeff Wysaski, you won’t have a hard time finding your perfect match among these shelter cats. This is because he’s provided a detailed list of these adoptable pets’ likes and dislikes. The idea sounds hilarious but all these cats are real, and they are in need of a home. Hopefully, through Wysaski’s little comedic act, these kitties would find new hoomans and homes soon.
In the United States alone, approximately 6.5 million animals enter the shelters each year. These consist of roughly 3.3 million dogs and 3.2 million cats. Sadly, only around half of these shelter animals get adopted. As such, animal lovers relentlessly promote the “Adopt, don’t shop” advocacy.
Better known to the online world as Obvious Plant, Wysaski shared these witty biography cards on his Facebook page. He even claimed that he “stealthily left” them at the shelter. The post has garnered over six thousand reactions from his followers and even caught the rescue center’s attention.
In response, Sante D’Or replied:
“Thanks for the shout out. Please stop by and see the cats in person. We’d love to chat. However, Obi is a huge fan of improv comedy…”
These amusing labels have certainly piqued the interest of a lot of animal lovers all over the globe. Some of the notable “likes” we’ve spotted include “belly rubs,” “side scratches,” and “staring out the window.” Meanwhile, the “dislikes” are equally remarkable. There’s a cat who hates 90s garage rock and another cat who hates fart jokes. Well, based on these criteria, it’s highly impossible for these lovely felines not to find the perfect human for them.
We love these adoptable pets’ likes and dislikes The shelter also provides foster opportunities in case you’re not yet fully ready to adopt a pet. Likewise, they also accept volunteers and donations.
