Love camping but hate setting up camp? You’re better off camping out in a mobile home instead, then! But if you currently don’t have the budget or space for one, then why not set up a rooftop tent over your car? This way you won’t have to worry about scouting for a place to set up camp and spend a good deal of time pitching your tent. All you have to do is drive out to your destination, unfold the tent and you’re good to go! If this appeals to you, AutoHomeUSA’s tents are perfect for you!

AutoHomeUSA prides itself in providing the best rooftop tents in the world. AutoHomesUSA is the exclusive distributor of Italy-based Zifer company in the United States. They’ve been providing these tents in the United States for over 16 years now. Their tents come in three types: the Air Top, Columbus and Maggiolina. And, out of the three, the Maggiolina holds the title of being the most “legendary” of all.

Camp without the fuss with this rooftop tent from AutoHomeUSA

The Maggiolina tent can withstand harsh conditions for decades. This is the quality that earned it its legendary status. It’s definitely not your average camping tent, that’s for sure! After all, a traditional tent’s lifespan depends on how it’s used. One storm can rip your tent to shreds and leave a soaking unhappy mess. So why not save yourself from the trouble and invest in a tent made to resist all four seasons instead?

The Maggiolina’s internal frame consists of insulating foam and fiberglass. These sandwiched components give it a sturdy yet lightweight build. Its insulated design protects the occupant(s) from extreme temperatures. Additionally, it also helps in minimizing the condensation that occurs under camping mattresses. You also won’t need to worry about installing the tent as it fits well with standard roof rack bars.

The Maggiolina is built to last

The fiberglass outer shell used on the Maggiolina tent can resist dust and water. With this feature, you won’t need to work hard to keep your tent spic and span. Camping out in the dessert or during a rainy day won’t be a problem as long as you’ve got your Maggiolina tent! The fiberglass tent is also aerodynamic, which means that it offers little air resistance even when you’re driving.

It’s available in several configurations to match your needs perfectly

The Maggiolina tent has several variations. Trekkers will find the Maggiolina AirLand Plus suitable for their needs as it’s more lightweight compared to the other units. It also sports a double fiberglass bottom shell with foam sandwich for “strength, rigidity, and cold weather insulation”.

The model is fitted with a 3 1/2 -inch thick closed cell foam mattress and a locking alloy ladder so you can climb in and out of your tent with absolute ease. Aside from this model, you can also check out the Maggiolina Extreme, Grand Tour and Carbon Fiber units on the website.
