Camping can be fun at any time of the year but when the days are too hot or too cold, spending time in the outdoors can be a bit grueling. Thankfully, several companies in the camping equipment market are coming up with innovative solutions to provide us camping all-year-round. Colorado-based company Quite Lite developed a lightweight, portable, and modular shelter and named it Quick Cabin. This rugged structure not only allows all-season camping but it is also designed for easy set up. It can be assembled by a single person and the only tool required for assembly is a screwdriver.

The Quick Cabin comes as a complete kit including modular panels, a hinged door, swing-out windows, and a 3-layer roof. To set up the shelter, connect the panels at the top, middle, and bottom using the included screws. Each panel has a durable tie down on both sides along with threaded inserts on the inside to attach furnishings. Save a two-panel space for the door. You can simply attach the door on any side using the lift-off hinges.

Each window panel features swing-out window made from shatterproof acrylic. Install the window panels on your preferred sides, particularly on areas where natural lighting is needed. Each window panel also comes with a replaceable screen and a simple push-in curtain rod (curtain not included). Lastly, the roof can be easily attached to the frame using its button snaps and pre-laced cords. The Quick Cabin kit also includes a 14-inch ceiling vent that you can install once the roof is set up. Furthermore, the vent is surrounded by a LED light ring to provide sufficient lighting inside the shelter.

The wall and window panels are made from polyethylene and ABS plastic making it highly resistant to puncture and harmful UV. All panels and the roof are filled with foam insulation and the modular shelter has been field tested for years in extremely hot and cold temperatures. When fully assembled, the Quick Cabin should measure 10 feet by 10 feet with a ceiling height of over 7 feet. If you need more interior space, you can get the extension kit that lets you increase the length of the shelter by two panels. The extension kit includes 4 wall panels, a roof extension, and an additional ceiling vent.

The Quick Cabin kit also includes a user manual. As long as you follow the instructions, you can assemble the entire thing in less than 2 hours. With its threaded inserts, the modular shelter can be assembled and disassembled as many times as needed.
