For those who can’t live without their doggos by their side, this Dog House Couch is created just for you. Now you can watch TV together with your furry buddies or just cuddle up with them on the sofa for hours. And when your pooches need to take a nap, they can just slip from the sofa to the integrated dog bed located on the side of the furniture.
This ingenious couch was created by Korean designer Seungji Mun for the pet furniture brand ‘MPUP’. From the front, the furniture looks nothing more than a sofa with an extra-large armrest on one side. But if you view it from the side, you can see an open area spacious enough to accommodate one large dog or two smaller dogs. The open compartment has a padded bottom to provide a comfy bed for your canine pets.

Your dog can also access the bed through a smaller entryway from the sofa to the bed. So, your pet won’t even need to hop off the couch to the floor just to get to the bed. So, it is a combination of sofa and dog house in one piece of furniture. The couch is made of solid ash wood and fabric for the cushions. Not much information is disclosed about the product on the company website. But based on the photos, the sofa appears to come in grey color.
“Now, the residential space is not only for humans, but also for pets. Between humans’ and pets’ residential space, furniture took the largest and the most important position. This Dog House Sofa is a tool to communicate and share feeling between human and pet.”, the designer wrote on the product description.
The couch doesn’t seem to be up for sale for the time being. So, we’re assuming that it’s still a product concept and production is currently underway. However, you may contact the company to get updates on the product.
