It’s a new year, which means our favorite brands have fresh, new offerings on the way. One that we are excited about is the release of the the Tostitos Avocado Salsa this January. Yes, that’s right – there’s now another avocado dip in town that may just give guacamole a run for its money! This new dip follows the SalsaGuac dip that they released for Cinco de Mayo in 2019.
Salsa and chips – specially Tostillos chips – are a match made in heaven. Casual gatherings, watch parties and movie marathons get tastier when there’s a bowl of crunchy chips to munch on. And if you’re like me, you’ve probably found yourself conflicted with what dip to pair with your snack. Thankfully, we can put that ‘Should I have guac or salsa with my Tostitos today?’ dilemma to rest with this new Avocado Salsa!

The new Avocado Salsa dip contains real vegetable chunks mixed together with the creamy avocado. Crushed green tomatoes, jalapeño peppers and red bell peppers come together with real, creamy avocado to give us a snacking experience like no other. In comparison, Tostitos’ SalsaGuac was made with Avocados from Mexico. It seems that Tostitos partnered with a different supplier for the salsa. Not that it’s a big problem. Avocado is delicious, no matter where it’s from.
With the Super Bowl just a couple days away, we’re pretty sure you’ve already begun stockpiling your Big Game stash. You’ve probably filled your fridge to the brim with cans of refreshments and stocked your pantry with bags of tasty things to munch on, but are you sure you got enough dip? Make sure your chip to dip ratio is always on point by grabbing a jar or more, we’re not gonna judge. A 15oz jar retails for $3.18 at Walmart. Sadly, you’ll need to wait for Tostitos to dole out a fresh batch as Walmart’s supply is completely sold out right now. Best keep your eyes peeled!
