We’re officially on our first week into August! This means that fall flavors will start dominating the shelves anytime soon. Of course, these include our all-time favorite pumpkin spice. From beverages, candies, cookies, cereal and creamer, it’s nearly impossible to think of a food product that still hasn’t gotten a fall flavor update. And this year, Silk is bringing us a new pumpkin flavored almond milk.
Plant-based milk drinks like almond milk are all the craze these days, especially among health-conscious people. After all, they’re vegan and free from dairy, gluten, carrageenan, cholesterol, soy, as well as artificial colors and flavors. Likewise, they’re an excellent source of calcium and antioxidants like vitamin E. More importantly, they’re ideal for those who are lactose intolerant and those with a milk allergy. So, they essentially make an excellent alternative to cow’s milk.
Just like regular cow’s milk, you can enjoy it with your favorite bowl of cereal or cup of coffee. You may also use it in making smoothies, overnight oats and other dairy-free desserts. And now that this plant-based milk is getting a fall makeover, why not try creating your own dairy-free PSL at home? After all, it’s still a much safer option than heading over to your favorite cafe and queuing up for hours.

So far, only a few photos of the fall-themed milk have surfaced online. Nonetheless, they appear to be available in stores already. As per a post from snack reviewer @markie_devo, a follower spotted the new Silk almond milk flavor at Shop-Rite. It comes in a 1.89-liter orange carton with a blue plastic cap and a “limited edition” seal.

Apparently, the post garnered several positive responses from the snack reviewer’s followers. One user wrote, “Pumpkin season is the only thing I’m looking forward to right now.” Another wrote, “OMG I so need this in my life right now!” Judging by these responses, it’s safe to assume that this seasonal flavor will sell out pretty fast. And since it’s available for a limited time only, we’d suggest scheduling a visit to your local Shop-Rite soon.
