These coiled wax candles are made from 100% beeswax and self-extinguish when they reach the end making these candles much safer than your average candle! They also have an extraordinary amount of life span ranging from 60 hours (UK) right up to 144 hours! (US) Amazing!

Won't this just burn straight down the side after it melts out of the top part?

How does the wax continue to feed. I don't think it will work. Anyone own this and can tell us it works? It is cute. Great conversation piece, just don't lite it.
Carrie Eastham –
Does it include the stand?
Nicole Hutchins –
Yea I would like I know that too
Chris Nev Moore –
Why do candles burn longer in 'murica?
Kaliyan Hernandez –
I didn't think UK had different increments of time than the US I thought 60 minutes equaled an hour everywhere… what kind of sorcery is this?
Eli Richards –
All you have to do is feed some of the candle into the little thingy and it'll burn for about an hour and by that time all you gotta do is turn the candle holder and feed some more candle into it.
Michael Edwards –
I think maybe it means that in the US you can buy the ones that last even longer. maybe the uk has stricter rules on candle sales for such things?
William Greatrex –
the US ones are probably. . . fatter O_O
Kristian Saks –
You feed it by hand (click "More Info" and then "See more product details"). I can't believe that people just comment without looking something up, it didn't even require typing 😀
Nick Jarvis –
Would be more impressive if the energy from the burning candle powered a tiny motor very slowly that uncoiled the candle at the right time…………maybe someone needs a logical member on their design team!!!!
Tim Hill –
I'm sure it has something to do with the difference in air density/air pressure in UK vs US.
Georgia Smith –
So you can light it and extinguish it whenever you want, but do you wind it on when it needs more wax or does it do it itself?
Ryan V Muirhead –
isn't it 220v europe vs. 110v US? I didn't google it, but guessing…… it would make sense..

They smell like candles.

if you clicked on the picture and read it tells you… "Self-extinguishes when the flame reaches the clip". So you just manually feed more in. Reading… It's a wonderful thing. 🙂

I really want to buy one of these for my boyfriends birthday, but i live in new zealand.. is there anyway i can find them over here 🙁
Daniel Joseph Rogers –
No it wouldn't make sense Ryan, candles aren't electric.air pressure I'd effected by sea level not geographical location . I would say William is going in the right direction, the one for the US is probably bigger due to shipping restrictions.
