One of my Christmas traditions is to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The mood is set with my moose mug glasses that double as excellent candle holders, and of course my Clark Griswold bobblehead – from Retro Festive. It's hard to believe that this film is almost 30 years old, but as with most of the 'vacation' movies, it's timeless. The story was written by John Hughes and is based on his short story in National Lampoon magazine. The film stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid, Juliette Lewis and Johnny Galecki. Christmas Vacation was distributed by Warner Brothers on December 1, 1989. #halifaxauthor #halifax #christmasvacation #chevychase #retrofestive #moosemugs #randyquaid #johnnygalecki #christmas #beverlydangelo #nationallampoonschristmasvacation #writer #amwriting #author #daniellittl

“Bought several of these for gifts and the recipients were thrilled. Only complaint was…one is not enough. Everyone has requested another for upcoming Christmas. Cousin Eddie would be proud.”
