Hershey’s Kisses Cereal Is The Best Excuse To Eat Chocolate For Breakfast

Having desserts for breakfast seems to be the latest trend these days. For one, there’s Coffee-mate’s Funfetti creamer hitting the markets early next year. Then, here comes Hershey’s Kisses Cereal which will surely make your mornings even sweeter. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not have something that you love the most? And by that, we mean chocolates!

The name says it all—Kisses in the form of cereal. So, you still get to enjoy the same chocolatey goodness without the hassle of peeling off that annoying little foil. Plus, the cereal pieces also come in the shape of the iconic treat. Ah, it’s always so exciting to see our favorite sweets take the form of another treat!

Hershey's Kisses Cereal

General Mills

This new General Mills cereal started making news last October, with a photo of its mock-up circulating online.

Luckily, we can now get our hands on the real deal, thanks to this tip by Instagrammer and YouTuber Tami Dunn.

Tami spotted the family-size version (561g) of the chocolate-inspired cereal at Walmart for just $3.64. However, do note that prices may vary depending on your location. Tami, along with her husband Kevin, reviewed the cereals on her YouTube channel. As per Kevin, the cereal “kind of reminds you of a Cocoa Puff.”

?Hershey Kisses Cereal ? ?Found @ Walmart ? ?Review: Hershey Kisses is a very straight forward chocolate based cereal. What I found when consuming this cereal is that both dry and in milk have spectacular flavor. The richness of the cocoa powder is present, not bitter, but has a dense milk chocolate flavor that lasts into the aftertaste. These truly shine when you let them sit in milk for a few minutes. The cereal milk is luscious chocolate that resembles an amplified cocoa pebble or chocolate cheerio experience. For those who love chocolate, I would state these are a must-buy, but if you don't favor a heavy chocolate based cereal this may be a one and done experience. Overall I am very pleased with them and will have 0 issues polishing off this family size box. ? ?Grade: 8.5/10 ? ?Macros Per Serving: 140 Calories, 1.5g Fat, 31g Carbs, 2g Protein ? #hershey #snacks #cereal #chocolate #hersheykisses #cerealkiller #milk #cereals #carbs #workout #cheatmeal #iifymfood #junkfood #oreo @hersheys @generalmills #dessert #fit #fitness #fitfam #flexibledieting #foodie #foodporn #iifym #generalmills #worokout #macros #bodybuilding #breakfast #junkfood

That said, it’s safe to assume that it doesn’t taste quite like the classic milk chocolate. Rather, it tastes like more of cocoa that’s not too bitter nor too sweet. The cereals are actually pretty chocolatey, so you’ll likely end up with some chocolate milk in your bowl to enjoy. If you don’t mind having chocolates for breakfast, then this one’s worth a try.

So far, Instagram users have spotted the new Hershey’s Kisses Cereal sitting on the shelves of Walmart and ShopRite. If you want to get your hands on the latest chocolatey treat in town, then head over to your nearest branch now!
