British artist Pippa Dyrlaga specializes in paper cutting art. Although this specific craft has evolved uniquely to adapt to different cultural styles, Dyrlaga prefers to stick to the traditional distinction in which artists cut their designs from a single sheet of paper as opposed to the contemporary method of adjoining multiple sheets. This talented artist, in particular, can transform a blank page into a stunning landscape or an intricate animal in astounding details.

This Yorkshire-based artist uses thin Japanese washi paper which is typically used for crafts due to its durable and flexible properties. Before she cuts out extraordinary images from a single sheet of paper, she first draws the outline of the image in pencil with the design drawn in reverse. After drawing the design on paper, she cuts the sections out using a precision knife. Then she flips the cut-out over to reveal the finished artwork.
