Well, it’s certainly an enchanting take on our favorite French meringue-based confection and we’re totally digging its dreamy makeover. There’s one downside, though—they look too good to eat!
When it comes to texture, they’re like the typical macarons that you’ve grown to love. They’re crispy on the outside yet moist and chewy on the inside. Of course, these delectable desserts wouldn’t be complete without some magical fillings inside. Some bakers use Fruity Pebble cereals while others opt for pastel-colored buttercreams.

And in terms of appearance and variations, we’ve seen quite a lot. The most common of which involves the circular confections with two ears and a mystical horn. But that’s not all. Other baking extraordinaires go as far as hand-painting them with dainty flowers, delicate eyelashes and subtle blushes. We’ve seen some topped with colorful sprinkles and edible glitters too!
Similarly, we’ve seen these treats shaped as a unicorn to, complete with a pastel-colored mane and tail. On the other hand, there are also bakers who simply go for multicolored macarons with candy floss fillings. Whatever your preferred design may be, you can easily DIY them by simply following some recipes online.
