These Natural Sand Towers At Lake Michigan Look Like Something From Space
Photographer Joshua Nowicki went for a walk along the shores of Lake Michigan and encountered something very strange. Because of some pretty unique weather conditions relating to wind and intense cold temperatures, the wind had actually eroded the frozen sand and created amazing towers, some as tall as 30cm. Nowicki immediately got to photographing them and it was a good thing he did as when he returned later in the day the towers had already melted. Take a look at his photos, they're like something from a sci-fi movie set.
