This Picture Frame Turns Into A Table Making It Perfect For Rooms With Limited Space

Living in the city means that you’ll have access to an interesting lifestyle. However, living in the city also means that you’ll have to make a lot of sacrifices or adjustments. It’s no secret that a spacious living area is considered a luxury in the city. But thousands of people would rather live in a tiny apartment, cramped condominium or room share than forsake their dreams and careers. And as residential areas continue to shrink, more and more transforming furniture designs are being introduced to help the struggling city dweller with their living situation. Take for example this transforming picture frame by IvyDesign.

The Austrian furniture design company’s Picture Table isn’t just for display. It actually doubles as a table! So whether you’re a photographer or just happen to like displaying a certain picture but currently don’t have much space in your place then IvyDesign’s Picture Table is the perfect solution for you! On their website, IvyDesign wrote that:

“Picture Table & Mirror Table transform the look and purpose of one room like a home office to a dining room or a home office to a cozy sitting room where you can enjoy dinner with friends without having to be reminded of work.”

This large, elegant picture frame transforms into a table

IvyDesign’s Table takes the form of a simple frame that you can hang up on your wall. But when the need for a flat and stable surface arises, simply take out the hidden legs and set them down on the floor. And just like that, you’ll have a table spacious enough to accommodate 6 people during your brunch or dinner parties! Then, when you don’t need to have a table in your area, you can simply tuck the legs back in and secure the picture frame back on the wall using the turn clasp that you install above the frame.

There are currently several versions of the Picture Table available for purchase. The ‘Model Standard’ features a pair of table legs that you can ‘hang’ on the wall and fold up when not in use. Their ‘Model Classic’ features a transforming table that has one end permanently attached to the wall. Meanwhile the ‘Model Premium’ is fully detachable and movable to wherever you need an extra table.

The entire frame will measure 59 inches tall and 33.4 inches wide. When used as a table, the transforming piece will be 29.5 inches tall. In addition to this, the transforming frame also comes in different colors and finishes. It’s also possible to request a custom color and finish, just let IvyDesign know!

This is definitely a smart and stylish way of saving space. It’s definitely going to be a real conversation-starter when you finally have guests over for dinner.
