Pillsbury Has Mini Cinnamon Sticks You Bake And Drizzle With Icing

It goes without saying that Pillsbury has mastered the art of churning out perfect, heat-and-eat cinnamon rolls in various flavors. Their pumpkin spice-flavored cinnamon rolls have rolled back onto shelves this fall but that’s not all! Apparently, Pillsbury’s come up with an entirely new way of serving this beloved treat in the form of mini cinnamon sticks. This new pastry innovation’s certainly got our interest piqued. Would this doughy, cinnamon-y pastry treat taste different with its new form?

Pillsbury’s latest pastry innovation, the Mini Cinni Stix, is so new that the brand hasn’t even gotten around to officially introducing it. Despite the lack of fanfare, an Instagram user, @rednecksnackandfood, already managed to get their hands on the brand new cinnamon snack at their local Walmart. “Definitely had to buy myself one and will be baking it sooner or later!” the lucky shopper wrote in the caption. I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly a little green with envy that they’ve already gotten to try out these exciting cinnamon sticks!

Pillsbury’s new mini cinnamon sticks are doughy, bite-sized delights

Normally, you’ll either find five big cinnamon rolls or eight regular sized ones packed into a Pillsbury Grands tube. But since the cinnamon sticks are flattened and stretched out, there’s even more room in the tube to fill out. Because of this, you can expect to find 24 mini sticks in every Mini Cinni Stix tube! All we’ve got to do is pop the cinnamon sticks in the oven and wait for them to bake. Then, you can drizzle some cinnamon icing on them after! But if you’re feeling a little crazy, why not use the cinnamon icing as a dip… the treats are stick-shaped, after all!

Since the Mini Cinni Stix have already hit shelves, we’ve got a feeling that Pillsbury will be announcing them soon. But for now, keep an eye out for them when you drop by the refrigerated aisle at Walmart! Do you think the cinnamon sticks will taste different than their rolled counterpart? Well, the only way to find out is by trying it – so if you spot it, snatch it!
