Mina Gerges began the @KeepingUpWithMina project on Instagram as a reaction to societal pressure to conform to certain physical gender stereotypes. You know how many of us feel pressurized into looking a certain way to fit in with our peers? Well Mina can't stand that way of thinking and loves to stretch the boundaries of gender and of what society in general perceives as the 'norm'. The whole project originally began as a hobby as Mina used second hand makeup, towels, garbage bags and even old shower curtains to recreate the hottest celebrity red carpet looks and things just grew from there.
