Yes, my fellow donut-lover, our favorite donut purveyor is leveling up their glaze game by coating their delicious donuts with fruity flavors! We’ve seen a lot of gorgeous offerings from Krispy Kreme before, but this, according to the company, is their most colorful yet.
The fruit glazed donuts are from Krispy Kreme’s new Fresh Off The Line series. In this lineup, the Original Glazed donut comes dressed in a vibrant, delicious coat of either strawberry, key lime or lemon. But if the Original donut’s sweetness isn’t enough for your sweet tooth, this new lineup also comes with the Original Filled version. However, you’ll have to act fast, because they’ll be rolling in and out of the shops sooner than you think!

The fun donuts are Krispy Kreme’s response to the bleak current events we’re experiencing lately. And they’ve figured a really fun way to deliver it too! In the past, Krispy Kreme’s limited edition releases have always run for at least a month. But not this time. In light of recent events, the company has decided to release the donuts one at a time, through a staggered schedule. Instead of releasing them all at once, Krispy Kreme will only be releasing one specific flavor every week.
Krispy Kreme’s new fruity donuts come in three delicious flavors
To begin, the Strawberry Glazed and Strawberry Kreme Filled Doughnuts will be rolling onto the menu from April 28th to May 1st. These pink, berry-licious donuts from Krispy Kreme is their “fresh take on one of the season’s most loved fruits”. They’ll come covered in strawberry glaze and will have a strawberry Kreme filling.
Next, we’ll be getting the Key Lime Glazed and Key Lime Kreme Filled Doughbuts by May 5th through May 8th. A tart yet sweet coat of green, key lime-flavored glaze covers the Original Glaze. According to the official description, the key lime’s tart flavor goes well together with the sweet flavor of the Original glaze! The Original Filled version will also have key lime Kreme inside. This is definitely a must-try for those looking for interesting flavor combinations!
Finally, the final batch of fruity donuts will be served from May 12th to 15th. And it seems like they saved the best for last, as a the crowd favorite Lemon Glazed doughnuts are making a comeback. And this time, it’s got a Lemon Kreme Filled version to match!
