Ben & Jerry’s Snackable Cookie Dough Chunks is a Thing

Last summer, Ben & Jerry’s unleashed its innovative snackable cookie dough in Vermont and people LOVED it. Now, here’s the great news. The popular ice cream brand is going to make its delectable Cookie Dough Chunks available all over the country. Starting today, people across the US can now get their hands on these yummy treats. That’s enough reason to celebrate and indulge ourselves to this sweet reward.

These Cookie Dough Chunks are the exact snackable dough we find in Ben & Jerry’s pints of ice cream. Since people just can’t get enough of the tasty frozen dough, the brand decides to bag it up sans ice cream. Jody Eley, the innovation manager of Ben & Jerry’s, said that the short market test in Vermont was a success. “Bags flew off the shelves in mere days, and stores could not keep the delicious dough bites in stock! Now, Ben & Jerry’s is rolling out the dough to fans across the US.” News about the product’s nationwide launching has gotten fans excited. This means that they don’t need to go to Vermont just to avail these tasty treats.

There’s no denying that deep down, we’re all disgusting monsters. We love @benandjerrys because of how much crap they cram into our ice cream, and we also love eating raw cookie dough by the spoonful. Well, introducing bags of it. Ben & Jerry’s is testing these Cookie Dough Chunks – the same ones they put in their ice cream – at Vermont Scoop Shops. They’re safe to consume raw and if you Vermonsters gobble it up, it may be available online and in other distribution channels later this year. Big responsibility, Vermont. Please support “Oops! All Chunks” so the rest of the country can enjoy too. Thank you to @benandjerrys for including me in this launch; it saves me a lot of gas money on what would have been an inevitable trip to Vermont.

Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough Chunks are available in ½ pound bags, each bag contains 8 servings of appetizing dough. But is it really safe to eat dough? It’s a common knowledge that dough needs be baked in order to make cookies. Although it is basically raw dough, it is totally safe to eat because it contains pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour. So, you can have as much as you want to satisfy your sweet tooth. Just make sure to keep it in the freezer to maintain its freshness. This genius innovation by Ben & Jerry’s is indeed un-DOUGH-lievable!

Cookie Chunk Flavors

It comes in three different flavors – Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, and Vegan. If you can recall, the ice cream brand recently rolled out its vegan version of frozen desserts in February. The Vegan Dough Chunks are the same ones found in its new non-dairy offerings especially made for vegans.  You can get all these flavors from the nearest participating retailers, ice cream shops, and online for $4.99 per bag. If you’re going to the grocery store, run straight to the freezer aisle and grab your bags of Cookie Dough Chunks.
