A Giant Pair Of Hands Hold-Up The Bà Nà Hills Bridge In Vietnam

If Vietnam is your next travel destination then you might want to visit the magnificent Bà Nà Hills Bridge. This remarkable structure is one of the highlights of a popular mountaintop resort complex, just a 45-minute car ride away from Da Nang. The main attraction of the resort is its French-style village, making it the French getaway in the heart of Vietnam. Visitors can stroll through the village featuring European-style buildings and medieval castles.

Apart from the French village, the resort is also full of entertainment hubs and breathtaking attractions. There’s the record-breaking cable car system, a wax museum, a fantasy park and alluring flower gardens. But one of its attractions took the world by storm since it opened – the Golden Bridge. This curving pedestrian bridge is held up by a pair of massive stone hands. So, it seems like the entire bridge is being suspended in the air.

Two Massive Stone Hands Seem To Lift The Bà Nà Hills Bridge

The famous bridge is around 500 feet long and it is approximately 4,600 feet above sea level. It connects the cable car station with the gardens. The Golden Bridge has been open to the public since June 2018. Since then, it has attracted millions of visitors from around the world. The pedestrian bridge doesn’t only provide a beautiful path for tourists but it also provides a scenic overlook as visitors walk over it.

A bridge outside Da Nang in Vietnam is wowing visitors with its beautiful view and elegant design – seemingly being held aloft by two giant stone hands. Known as the Golden Bridge, it stands 1,400m above sea level above the Ba Na hills, offering majestic panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The image of a huge couple of ancient hands lifting the bridge as a shining golden silk strip, toward the high blue sky with deeply green forests below, actually is not inferior to any blockbuster’s scenes. It is designed to connect cable car station with the gardens to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The bridge loops nearly back around to itself, and has two giant hands, constructed of fiberglass and wire mesh, designed to appear like stone hands that support the structure. #vietnam #goldenbridge #danang #banahills #travel #bridge #wanderlust #goldenbridgevietnam #asia #hands #travelphotography #traveling #travelblogger #sunworld #trip #photooftheday #nature #holiday #travelling #architecture #adventure #vacation #?? #photography #tourist #traveller #beautiful #goldenbridge #vietnam #banahills #trip #asia

The Golden Bridge in Da Nang is one of the top attractions in Vietnam. Surprisingly is part of the theme park in Ba Na Hills Resort and is one of the most expensive attractions in the country. Got lucky to visit the place during the pandemic and there were almost no visitors, otherwise this pic would be almost impossible, usually the bridge is full of tourists trying to get the best shot. Purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums also line the bridge which add flair to the path. While, the two giant stone hands look like they came from an ancient ruin. Covered in moss and cracks, the stone hands seem like they emerged from the thick forests.

This bridge was created by Ho Chi Mihn-based TA Landscape Architecture. The world-famous hilltop resort temporarily closed on March 28th due to the coronavirus pandemic. But now the doors are back open while ensuring proper cleaning and regular disinfection of the entire resort. Visitors also need to wear masks and undergo body temperature checks inside the premises. Of course, visitors are always reminded to observe social distancing to keep them safe from coronavirus.

? Nestled just outside of the city of Da Nang, Vietnam’s Golden Bridge may be the world’s most unique footbridge. It connects the nearby cable car station to the beautiful gardens of the Ba? Na? Hills Resort. Set against a backdrop of lush, fantastical scenery, the bridge rises from the ground, supported by two giant hands. Vu Viet Anh, the lead architect on the bridge’s design, said that the goal was to “invoke the sensation of walking along a thread stretching through the hands of God.” The god-like hands, with their exquisite detail, invoke a sense of the divine for the thousands of visitors who traverse the pedestrian bridge each day. . . . I thought sets of nine might work quite nicely from an arrangement perspective, however in hindsight it's probably a few too many… So here's one last one to bring this selection to a close. As per Hooper's famous line in Jaws, "I need to have something in the foreground to give it some scale!" . .
