We just hate saying goodbye to summer and if it’s not too much to wish for, we would like summer to last all year long. Of course, that would be realistically impossible. The tops of the recycled cans are cut off and each comes with a removable cork lid to protect the candle. The wick is made of 100% cotton and we suggest you trim it to ¼-inch before lighting for the first time. When using it for the first time, it’s also important to burn the wax and let it melt across the surface to prevent tunneling. And take note that aluminum cans can become very hot when exposed to heat. So, never touch it while the candle is burning unless you’re using any heat protection.
