There are over 100 species of succulents, each with their own unique characteristics and particular care instructions. So, choosing the best succulent variant to suit your needs and interest can be a challenge. But if you’re looking for a rare species then you might want to check out these amazing clear succulents.

Haworthia cooperi are now quickly gaining attention due to their jewel-like appearance. Endemic to the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa, more and more plant lovers are getting enamored with the plant’s distinctive beauty. Although the species itself is considered rare, it’s just a matter of time before it becomes an ornamental must-have in every home. Just like most succulent plants, this variant also grows in clumps of small rosettes comprised of fleshy, tiny green leaves. But its most striking feature is that the leaves have transparent tips, making them appear like glistening gems.

The tips of the leaves particularly become translucent when the sun is very bright. But, only excessive exposure to sunlight causes the tips of the leaves to turn white. So, it is advisable to keep them in a spot where there’s sufficient light, but not directly under the sunlight. Placing them near the window sill should do it.

These succulents come in a large number of varieties. Some varieties have round, plump leaves while others have thin, bristled leaves. But the shape of the leaves aside, all of these varieties have transparent streaks around the tips of the leaves. And this makes this species unique from other succulent plants.
