Sour Patch Kids Marshmallows Are Here And They’re Great For Decorating

Take a break from your usual gummy candies and try the new Sour Patch Kids Marshmallows. Yes, folks! Our favorite sour-then-sweet chewy candy is now in marshmallow form. We’re excited (and scared) to try these goodies because it is a whole new experience. But what took them so long think of this?

As a matter of fact, these fluffy treats were first spotted at Walmart last year in February. The marshmallows come in the shape of original candy, only bigger in size. These come in a 7-oz pack containing sugar-coated marshmallows in 4 different flavors – redberry, lime, blue raspberry and orange. The new edition was only available in-stores so only a few got a hold of it.

This year, the marshmallows return and are now available online. Furthermore, this year’s edition comes in 5 different flavors with the Lemon flavor added into the previous mix. Just like the original chewy candies, these squishy delights will give you that sour-to-sweet experience. Each vanilla-flavored marshmallow is coated in Sour Patch-flavored coating which holds all the sour flavor. So, when you’re done with the sour coating, the sweetness of marshmallow follows through to send your taste buds into flavor overload.

If you love the perfect balance of sour-sweet of the original gummy candies then you’ll surely love the same flavor in a different texture. The lightly sweet marshmallows offer a wonderfully unique texture with all the fluffy and soft deliciousness. Plus, the oversized pieces make them gorgeous toppings on baked goods. If you want something more than just the boring vanilla-flavored marshmallows then these are really worth a try. We’re not sure if this is a limited-edition offering but it won’t hurt to stock up on these treats while they last.
