Multiple, teeny weeny panda bears all lined up in rows, peacefully sleeping. What could be cuter than that? How about baby pandas frolicking on children's play equipment? Or a bunch of them lying back on the grass together, all sucking from identical bottles? These are just some of the awesomely cute images Chengdu Research Base in China released recently. A specialized breeding center and nursery for giant pandas, Chengdu is helping to revitalize a species so endangered there are thought to be only 1,864 individuals left.
