Maurice Mikkers Takes Magnified Photographs Of Tears Proving They Are All Unique

Tears are most often associated with sadness and weakness. However via his project "Imaginarium of Tears," Maurice Mikkers aims to show the world that tears can also be beautiful. Mikkers' project consists of a series of micrograph images, which show different 'types' of tears magnified many times, so that their actual structure is visible. To create the tears pictured? Mikkers did everything from cutting white onions to snorting water and eating red papper! Take a look at the results!
