If you're a single female it's most likely you find yourself doing certain things on a pretty much daily basis. Lounging around in your underwear, sitting alone on your couch and reading on your beloved kindle, just to name a few! Talented artist Idalia Candelas draws these very scenarios of women who are content to be alone. Candelas was inspired by her own loneliness living in Mexico City. When talking about her work she states 'I like to show women who exist in solitude but do not suffer. They are not depressed or crying, rather they are safe'.
