So you’re thinking of ditching your boring natural hair color for something more fun and unique this year? Well, a quick trip to the salon for a new ‘do is definitely on everyone’s to-do list. And while some are simply looking to get a new hairstyle, others will be going the extra mile by having their colors changed. Now, this may be a regular thing for you or a big first. Either way, we’ve got a feeling that Ursula Goff’s awesome hair art will help give you some hair color ideas!

Ursuala Goff first made waves on the internet in 2016 when she recreated Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ and Claude Monet’s ‘Water Lilies’ on her clients’ tresses. Sometime between 2016 and 2020, “a whole cascade of events came together” that encouraged Goff to stop working in the salon. She is no longer working in hair salons or collaborating with any beauty brands. But she hasn’t stopped creating stunning hair art.

Ursula Goff’s hair art is sure to inspire some awesome hair color ideas

The possibilities of hair dye is seemingly endless. Some hair color artists can create holographic designs and even glow-in-the-dark rainbow designs. But what sets Goff apart from her fellow hair color artists is the fact that she has graduated from taking inspiration solely from works of art by masters to the most unexpected things! Her most recent creation is inspired by a water droplet-covered prismatic film. She has even created a design inspired by Pantone’s Colors of 2021! So if you’re currently looking to go for a really interesting ‘do to rock in 2021, let Goff’s masterful work give you some wickedly cool hair color ideas.

Unlike most hair color artists, Goff is more than happy to teach other aspiring colorists her methods. In fact, those looking to recreate her work can purchase tutorials of her various techniques. She has downloadable tutorial files that will teach you how to apply various hair color techniques or remove them. Browse her hair color tutorials here.
