If you’re a dessert-a-holic, you need to beware of the next big thing we’re about to unfold to you! It’s about the English Toffee M&M’S Peanut! Indeed, it has become the official winner of the M&M’s 2019 flavor contest.
If you have not been following along the said contest, we’d like to give some background information. M&M’s actually held this competition where fans could pick a new internationally inspired flavor. This needs to be a fun one as it will join the M&M’s family of sweet treats for 18 months. With three contenders, namely the Thai Coconut Peanut, Mexican Jalapeño Peanut, and English Toffee Peanut.
English Toffee M&M’s wins as the brand’s 2019 flavor!
According to M&M’s Brand Director Allison Miazga-Bedrick,
“We love inviting our fans to partake in the flavor innovation process and influence the M&M’s products they see on shelves. We were thrilled to see so many of our passionate fans engage in the campaign and cast their votes, with English Toffee Peanut as the overwhelming fan-favorite!”
Taking a note from Great Britain, the English Toffee M&M’s has a mix of both the hard shell we’ve always loved and the coffee and peanut combo delight. For the year and a half that’s coming, all the M&M’s lovers across the country will get to have a “mini-vacay” across Europe with the English Toffee Peanut flavor.
Now don’t just dare listen to us. Even Twitter has a lot to say, too. Fans are unarguably super excited for the new flavor to come and stay.

Still, others did not come to enjoy the results a lot. The fan-favorite was the Mexican Jalapeño Peanut. So, a considerable number of people were saddened about the flavor not staying among other M&M’s.
