If you think that people dressing up their dogs in silly outfits is a new phenomenon, think again! These photos of bulldogs dressed up as people taken circa 1905 prove that we have been doing it for at least 110 years, but quite possibly longer. The photographs were uncovered by the Library of Congress, and are now going to be put in a book from the Detroit Publishing Company. It might just be their naturally grumpy faces, but these pooches do not look especially pleased to be dressed up as old men and women. We, however, can't help but chuckle.
Bless their little squidgy faces. Dogs do have to put up with a lot from their humans.
