Shanghai-based artist Eddie Liu has created an awesome series of paintings, imagining how superheroes might look as they get older. We all know that superheroes have varying crime-fighting powers, but staying young is one they all seem to share. These portraits of elderly superheroes are actually rather poignant. Although they’re no longer youthful, they still have that bad-ass look that tells you not to mess with them! There also appears to be a slight sadness about them, perhaps because their glory days are over. Take a look and see what you make of them!
