When Holly Christensen's friend's daughter, aged just two, was diagnosed with lymphoma, she wanted to do something worthwhile to help the family as they went through such a difficult time. The mother of three, and former oncology nurse from Alaska, was aware of how much it would distress the little girl to lose her beautiful blonde curls. So she decided to make her a Rapunzel wig, out of yarn. This kind and innovative gesture led Christensen to establish 'The Magic Yarn Project', which provides yarn wigs for kids who've lost their hair to chemotherapy. Each wig is modeled on the child's favorite Disney princess! Take a look!
