A photographer named Rachele Totaro has staged pictures with ex-lab animals 'posing' as though they're characters from 'The Little Prince' in a bid to find the critters new homes. All the animals you see below were born and bred as test animals. They were about to be euthanized when Italian charity 'La Collina Dei Conigli' stepped in, with their 10+ years of experience saving lab animals. Now the poor wee mice, rats, bunnies and hamsters are in limbo, waiting for someone to adopt them and give them a good home in which to live out their remaining years. Totaro has released a calendar featuring the furry stars to raise awareness about animal rights and adopting animals. Amazing!
