The people at Ars Thanea, a Poland-based advertising and production agency, wanted to create something which has never been seen before. They came up with the simple yet hauntingly effective idea of creating a black bouquet of burning roses. They created the flowers with various materials, painted them and placed real burning coal and red light around the roses to give the finished piece the 'burning' effect. To add depth to the piece, they they created the image layer by layer with the addition of some extra photos of burning coal. The finished piece is incredible and is certainly a 'one-off'!
