Wildlife photographer Lassi Rautiainen captured some exceptionally unusual behavior when he photographed this bear and wolf hanging out in Finland. It might not seem too strange to the uninitiated, but it's practically unheard of for predators from different species to spend time together. It wasn't just a fluke encounter, either. Lassi spent a full 10 days photographing the pair. Not only did the two hang out, they also shared food. It seems as though the bear introduced the wolf to other bears in the area, who also accepted the wolf's presence. Nobody can be quite sure why this duo became friends, but Lassi theorizes that the two young animals may have been at a loss and not sure how to survive on their own, so they decided to team up for their mutual benefit. Whatever the reason, it sure is cute!
