Samuel Peck has just recently expanded his talents and jumped into the world of Chinese ink landscapes. He likes to paint these landscapes in the traditional way, using a calligraphy brush and ink, but occasionally he uses fountain brush pens loaded with fountain pen cartridges, as he sometimes works on his art while out and about, and the latter option is much more portable. Peck's landscapes do have a twist, however. He has inserted some of his favorite childhood characters, such as Totoro and various pokemon, into the paintings. This gives them a fun, whimsical feel and makes them just that little bit different from traditional Chinese landscapes.
