History hasn’t exactly been kind to a lot of people, what with wars, genocide, slavery, and other atrocities, you might think it’s better to forget about the lot of it. However, the opposite is true. We need to remember the terrible things, as well as the good, so we can do our best not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
