This Guy Made His Own Wooden Pixel Lamp From 300 Separate Blocks Of Wood And The Results Are Awesome

Check out this awesome 6x6x18 inch lamp which was designed and hand made by matson23 on instructables.com. Not having fancy tools like a laser cutter didn't phase this guy, he created the whole lamp the old fashioned way, completely by hand using a saw, sander and glue. The 300 blocks used to make the lamp took a full 4 tiring hours of sanding until his hands hurt. He then got to assembling the lamp and thankfully remembered to leave one block out at the base to run the wiring through! He used a set square as he was building to ensure his block-tower was straight, left his lamp to dry for 12 hours and then was ready to go! Check out his handiwork below.
