Once upon a time, only freaks, rebels, sailors and gang members had tattoos, and they were seen as strange, exotic and even scary. But, now everyone seems to have some ink… even grandmas are going under the needle for the first time… so how do you have your body art stand out from the crowd?
It’s rare to find something different from your average piece of ink, but what about these “3D” tattoos from a Portland body artist known as “Winston the Whale” (spoiler alert… he’s not actually a whale)? Although they’re not literally 3D, they give the appearance of being stereoscopic and hark back to the days of those retro blue and red 3D glasses.
